The True Blue Golf Club is one of the most stunning golf courses in the area. In fact, Golf Digest has named True Blue as one of the top four golf courses in the south and even awarded it 4-1/2 stars, which is an impressive ranking and one that not many courses can boast.
With gorgeous landscaping, this golf course is not only excellent for for avid golfers but a relaxing and beautiful rendezvous as well. Stunning trees line the fairways and sand and water force golfers to sharpen and hone their skills in order to navigate their shots near the hole.
True Blue was designed by the late Mike Strantz and is conveniently located near its sister course - Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, which provides golfer the perfect opportunity to experience two of the best golf courses in the area!

great course must play if you go to myrtle beach
played true blue it was great conditions and layout would definitely go back
great course, great staff. Enjoyed thoroughly
A monster of a course with slick undulating greens.Conditions were excellent and the staff and facilities were excellent. I will continue tp come to Myrtle and will play both Caledonia and true Blue
the best condition i've seen...very very nice course...I will go back. Greens, fairways, teeoff....just incredible. 5 on 5.
Played this course May 5, 2012. The greens were in excellent shape. You can score well by keeping it in play. Yes there are tons of waste bunkers but the fairways are generous in size. Very busy the day we played but we finished in 4.5 hours. I think I like Caledonia a little better from a scenic standpoint and a little less crowded.
Mike Strantz designed this course and he died cvery young. If not, he would be known as one of the top three modern architects. He only designed 6 courses total and I believe that True Blue is him at his best. He did the re-design of monterey Peninsula and a lot of people say iot is the most beautiful course on the property(the other courses are pebble beach and Cypress so you know when guys like Phil Mickelson and many others say it, it means something). true Blue is designed form an artists perspective with the same amazing plethora of shot values that a Alister Mackenzie courses offer. There is a contsant stream of risk/reward oppotunities and the ability to play holes many different ways. He is simply as good of a par 3 designer as has ever existed. Gio play true Blue and Caledonia and find out what Strantz has to offer.
I will admit that this golf course is expensive, but it is absolutely worth every penny. The course was in excellent condition, and the greens were rated at a 13. If you've never played True Blue before, suck it up and pay the money...you will not be disappointed.
We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for years now and True Blue is the best course we have played on by far. It is always in perfect condition and everyone there is so nice and helpful.
I've played nearly every course in the MB area over the years. This course is easily one of my favorites. It is long, tough and beautiful. I like it more than Caledonia, which gets all the hoopla.
