The Willard Byrd golf course at Sea Trail is a distinctly unique course. With a large amount of trees spaced around sand and water hazards, careful play is required; each hole must be approached differently and with strategy straight off the tee.
Since their replacement in 2008, the undulating greens are one of the biggest challenges. The excellent condition of the greens makes it one of the most appreciated aspects of the course. Players must be sure not to leave their approach short of the hole.
Seven huge man-made lakes dominate the course and challenging sand bunkers are dotted throughout. Quite a few of the holes are doglegs, each requiring exact shots to make par. The beauty and depth of each hole grows stronger as play progresses, with the 18th hole culminating in a breathtaking finale.
The facilities at the Sea Trail are excellent and include a driving range, golf shop, and putting green. The restaurant is perfectly fitting for the end of a rugged but well-played course.

Sea Trail byrd is in great shape, especially the greens, we do offer breakfast lunch and 2 drinks. Last year we renovated all waste bunkers into small pot bunkers. Ask about are triple course specials.
This course was in bad shape. I had a group of 8 and played all 3 Sea Trail courses between 11-5 and 11-8. This course has been over seeded and was soaked everywhere. Fairways had long grass and puddles. Cart paths are terrible. greens are crazy slow. What a waste of $$$$.
