The semi-private River Club has proven to be one of the most challenging golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area. This Tom Jackson signature course is one of the premier "plantation" courses and a favorite among returning golfers.
The River Club golf course features wide open fairways and large, undulating Champion Bermuda grass greens. Long hitters have some room off the tee, but as the name implies, water is present on almost every hole, and 100 bunkers await the stray shot. River Club's dramatic 18th hole offers one of the most beautiful and exciting finishes anywhere!

One of the most enjoyable courses we play. Try the meatloaf sandwich at the turn!
A great golf challenge. Play the tees for your skill. It will be a challenge but it should not be too easy or too hard. The course is a nice layout and has holes that are great to play. Would try to play the course different next time. Some holes can be made a little easier by "cutting the corner". Gamble on 18... the reward can be had!!!
A challenging course with beautiful scenery. A very good value
Pace of play 4 hours and 10 minutes on a Saturday morning in march. Pretty darn good. Had not played here for several years on the March trip. Some very neat holes especially the 18th. Good condition and the friendliest over all staff of the week. Would play again anytime.
The River Club Golf Course on the South End of Myrtle Beach in the Litchfield / Pawley`s Island area, will be closing on June 23, 2011 until August 19,2011 for greens conversion. The River Club will be converting from Bent Grass Greens to Champions Bermuda Greens.
