Legends Parkland, joining Moorland and Heathland to complete the Legends Trilogy, is one of the most exciting golf courses in Myrtle Beach. Parkland has distinct differences from the other two Legends Courses.
The beauty and diversity of natural terrain becomes apparent here at the Legends Parkland golf course, with massive multi-level greens, deep-faced bunkers, vast natural areas, and tree-lined fairways. Parkland was designed after the style of golf course architects George Thomas (of Riviera Country Club) and Alister MacKenzie (of Augusta National). A deft touch is required to navigate the green-side bunkering and challenging fairway. Strategy is the order of the day on this par-72 playing field!

If it’s relaxation you are after, then THESE are the Myrtle Beach golf courses you need to check out. The most quiet and peaceful courses in the area.
The Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Dye Club once again lived up to its reputation. Check out my first hand look as a player.
they were in good shape for the weather we had . never a bad time on these tracks
Makes you think about your next shot!
Our group of 9 played on a Fri, Sat, and Sun at the Legends Golf Resort in early October. Pace of play is given plenty of lip service, rangers are present, but apparently don't really do anything to move slow groups. On an afternoon round on Heathland, a slow group was identified early by a ranger on the front side. He told us they would be picking it up. By the time we were in the 11th fairway, they were more than 2 holes behind (we had time to scout the course out). A call to the pro shop got another ranger sent out. After trying to tell us that we weren't behind pace (3 hrs, 15 min in the 11th fairway), he said he would check them out but we never saw him again. Management assured us that a reasonable pace of play is a priority, but ineffective ranger supervision proves otherwise. 8 minute tee time intervals is just too short, and unless rangers have the authority to tell groups that are way behind to pick up their balls and move up to the group in front, pace of play will always be an issue at the Legends. To the management's credit, they gave us vouchers for a round of golf next year. But I suspect we will still be facing 5+ hour rounds.
same as the other two courses super
enjoyed this course beautifulagain they need more help aroung the arriving area
Doesn't get much better than this. Good course with right amount of challenge and excellent customer service.
Played all three of the Legends courses from 4/25-4/27. The courses were in excellent shape. Organization was good at the starting areas. My only gripe was the pace of play, which exceeded 5 hours on each course. There were rangers on the course who said they were trying to maintain the pace of play, but my observations suggested otherwise. The group in front of us lost pace during one of the rounds, and nothing was done to move them along. This is especially a problem if you are trying to play 36 holes in a day. Our hope for a relatively leisurely lunch in between rounds (we should have had close to two hours if the 4:15 pace of play was enforced) turned into a rushed inhalation of a hot dog on the way to the first tee of the second round.
Course is great in all aspects, no complaints, it is a must play!!
