Let’s make your golf vacation PERFECT. Here are the best places to stay, top golfing packages, happy hour info and where to relax for dinner.
If it’s relaxation you are after, then THESE are the Myrtle Beach golf courses you need to check out. The most quiet and peaceful courses in the area.
The Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Dye Club once again lived up to its reputation. Check out my first hand look as a player.
Yesterday was my first time playing here and became one of if not my favorite courses in this area. Everything about the course was great. Great job by the staff and I would recommend it to anyone.
I just played this course with a group of my buddies. The conditions were awesome! Even better than in the spring I am told. We played all three nines. What views of the the marsh! Fred Couples designed it. I love Freddie.
Good layout hit it a day are two after top dressing greens other than that a great course will play again
I really liked the layout of this course, but the fairways were ate up pretty bad. Very patchy on some holes. Greens were in good shape for the most part aside from 1-2 having burnt spots. Greens were very fast and rolled great though. Had the course been in better shape I would have rated it 4 stars for sure.
BEWARE os this course, stay away! Well maintained course that was fun to play. We had a group of 32 guys playing in 8 groups. Our first tee time was 0840. There were 3 groups ahead of us who were really slow (teed off 1/2 hour late). We were behind the group in front of us for 14 holes and then that group disappeared. On hole 15, ranger said we were slow (we were not slow and made turn at 2:05) and pick our balls up and move to next hole. When I saw ranger on 18, I asked him if he asked each group ahead of us to pick up ball and move to next hole and he said yes. He also asked each group behind us to do same. So if there is a slow group in front of you, your group will be penalized to make up the time and you won't get to play a full 18... We complained to superintendent who shrugged his shoulders, did not even apologize or try to make it right...
Played there a couple of years ago and will never go back. The staff is rude and arrogant. Our group was booked behind a tournament. The round took over 5 1/2 hrs. Nice layout but there are plenty of other nice layouts in the area with better service.
Played this course in October 2011 with 8 guys. The course is nice - the layout is challenging without being ridiculous and was in very good shape. The staff, however, was one of the worst I've ever encountered. The pro shop staff was stiff and chilly, but it was the marshalls who took the cake. Rude, arrogant and really unrfiendly - one of them made us drive around him while he glared at us from the middle of the cart path! We definitely will NOT go back there on future trips. Somebody needs to wake these guys up to customer service...
