The Norman Course at Barefoot Resort is made up of 18 challenging and scenic holes, seven of which are situated along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. Each hole is enhanced by the natural beauty of the surroundings and the original local vegetation. The Norman course's open greens and fairways running right up to the sand create a challenge for any level of golfer. The course resembles those found in the Southwest, but without the desert. Some holes haves fairways which flow into the surrounding native areas, while others have a rough transitioning to the native areas. As with many European-style courses, this course does not turn back to the clubhouse at the end of nine holes.

If it’s relaxation you are after, then THESE are the Myrtle Beach golf courses you need to check out. The most quiet and peaceful courses in the area.
The Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Dye Club once again lived up to its reputation. Check out my first hand look as a player.
Fairways and greens were behind where they should be this time of the year (mid March). Generally the fairway grass was still dormant. They were spraying the fairways with a greenish pigment to try to hide the problem Seems to be a particular issue with the Barefoot courses since other courses we played didn't have the issue.
I enjoyed the course with good dificult, beautiful land that I recommend.
Beautiful course, challenging, but fair. I would play it again.
It was fine but we prefer Fazio and Love. Par 3's are very nice. Greens were a little rough due to winter and they are a little newer than Fazio I believe.
Barefoot Norman is a course for all golfers. The set of tees will challenge the low and high handicappers, but will be fair and a fun course to play. Conditions were excellent and the staff met all our customer service related needs
played norman on oct. 23,2013, it was a little wet but great design, lots of holes that give options off the tee. greens were great- go play
Great course. Playable for all caliber of golfer and the greens were fantastic!
Has a stretch of 4 holes in the middle that are excellent otherwise the other holes were ok. The Barefoot facility is excellent with all 3 courses radiating out from the one clubhouse. Again Staff were excellent
The course was not in as good of shape as the others we played.
Course was in good condition. Did not like the layout on some of the holes. Ammenties on the course were great. GPS in the carts. No yardage book which I find to be more helpful than the gps on carts. A decent experience overall.
Nice course, great view. Bring your "A" game or your in for a long day.
