Imagine a golf course so secluded that it can only be reached by passenger ferry or private boat. With George Cobb's design and the essence of the island, Bald Head Island Club is a course like no other. The Bald Head Island Club, an exclusive, private facility, located off the coast of Southport, NC, has now been opened for limited public play. A short distance from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina, the Bald Head Island Club is a resort so golf-oriented that there are no cars - only golf carts.
NEW ADDITION:Check out the Bald Head Island Yardage Guide!
With a slope rating of 137 from the men's tees and 113 from the women's, the Bald Head Island golf course wraps around 15 freshwater lagoons, through a maritime forest, and across dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
