The golf course at Aberdeen Country Club was actually inspired by the design of the Royal Aberdeen, one of Scotland's oldest layouts. Tom Jackson really knew what he was doing when he completed this challenging design. Tucked among towering hardwoods and the Waccamaw River, the Aberdeen golf course in Myrtle Beach will put golfers of all skill levels to the test. Water hazards are a huge factor when playing a round of golf here, so be prepared to put a dent in your stash of golf balls
Strategically designed with extensive mounding, bent grass greens, and wide landing areas, Aberdeen will force you to make thoughtful and accurate shots. Currently, you can book this course with our extremely popular Prime Time Rewards Package.
Below you'll find all the information you need about Aberdeen, including the most current tee time rates, high-definition course photos, and real reviews from fellow golfers that have stayed and played in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Aberdeen Golf and Country Club is definitely a must-play for those of you who are looking to be challenged on your next round of golf.

Let’s make your golf vacation PERFECT. Here are the best places to stay, top golfing packages, happy hour info and where to relax for dinner.
If it’s relaxation you are after, then THESE are the Myrtle Beach golf courses you need to check out. The most quiet and peaceful courses in the area.
The Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Dye Club once again lived up to its reputation. Check out my first hand look as a player.
Played course on May 2, and was impressed with the great conditions. The greens were nearly perfect, and never got a bad lie in the fairways. By far, the best course for the money that I have played in Myrtle Beach area.
We played April 9, 2017. What a pleasant surprise. The Greens were in wonderful shape, and I'd honestly say the best I've seen in a long time. Very few ball marks. The employees were very friendly, and added to the great time, along with the price was also very fair.
Love this course have played it before
Nice layout and challenging. If you are a single digit handicap, play from the blues not whites... makes it a little more enjoyable. Also, beware of coolers - not allowed. Overall a nice experience.
This was a good course to play for the price. It's not long but requires shot placement on most holes.
A nice course but not for high handicap golfers. We found it very challenging.
Played Aberdeen on the 25th. Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and rolled true. Love this course because you just can't "grip it and rip it" on every hole. Some holes you have to think your way around. This course is also has wonderful scenery and lots of wild life. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Very nice coursr
pretty course and will play again
We played the two shorter 9's at this 27-hole location, and course conditions were solid with a pretty good layout. Pretty good bit of water on these holes, though most could be avoided and water hazards were well-marked. Yardage book for $3.50 will help guide you. Unfortunately our front 9 was in constant drizzle to light rain and a lot of wind with temp in mid 60s, so we were not able to fully appreciate the holes due to chilly, wet conditions. A good mix of longer & shorter holes with fairly open/wide fairways, with the exception of a few tighter ones. A lot of slope on the greens for a fairly flat course terrain, so chipping and putting are at a premium. This was not a "wow" course that blew us away, but we were not at all disappointed with our choice and were pleased with the overall conditions, as best as we could tell due to the weather during our round.
Wasn't the best course I played, but the guys and I had a great time. Nice layout.
Played this course today for the first time. Very challenging, although I am not the best golfer to grace this Earth. WATER is everywhere on this course so make wise shots. The Greens were in excellent condition. They were running a bit fast.Overall I'd rate this course at a C+
The layout was nice, the fairways were pretty decent, but was up with the Greens? Every single one on I believe the Highlands were horrible. They must have had a virus and decided to kill parts of them off. BIG patches of the greens didn't even have grass in them.If the Greens were even halfway decent I would rate this around a B.BUT, overall I have to give this course a C- because of the Greens.
From March 29th May 9, 2010 Play for up to 50% These tee times must be booked prior to April 30, 2010.
I got to play 9-holes at Aberdeen Country Club on the Woodland nine, last week. Course was in great shape from tee to green and is a challenge to all skill levels. Spend the few bucks to get a yardage book and you should have a great round.
nice course
