With nearly 40 years of experience in golf course design, and 29 golf courses to his name across the United States, Thomas Walker is well-known in golf circles as a premier designer of golf courses. After serving for six years as the Vice President of Gary Player Design Company, in which he designed six courses, Walker also increased his experience by managing construction as well to get the full hands on idea of golf architecture.

Walker has summed up his golf course design philosophy as ""Every course we design has to be the best.  We strive to provide the most enjoyable golfing experience through excellent and exciting design. "We work passionately to improve on the design during the construction process and we are committed to manage each client's risk and surpass even our own goals."

One course that has the honor of his name on it is the Founders Club at Pawleys Island in Myrtle Beach, which is a world-class golf course that opened in 2008, and was built on the same land as the Sea Gull golf course, which had shut down in 2005.
